This section of our website lists contact information for members of the Colorado Housing Counseling Coalition (CHCC). The Non-Profit CHCC Agency Members provide some type of housing information from counseling to educational materials, programs and/or classes designed to educate and protect the consumer, particularly low income families. The CHCC Housing Professional Members provide resources such as real estate services and reverse equity mortgage funding. Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA)

Services: The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is a public enterprise working to finance affordable housing, businesses and economic growth opportunities for Colorado. CHFA offers financing in three main areas: (1) Homeownership mortgages to qualifying low- and moderate-income Colorado individuals and families; (2) Rental housing loans for new construction and rehabilitation of existing facilities, and administration of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program; and (3) Commercial loans to locally-owned businesses in Colorado.
Homebuyer Education: All CHFA borrowers are required to attend a CHFA Approved Homebuyer Education Class prior to the closing of the CHFA loan for the purchase of a home. Borrowers who complete this class prior to signing a contract to purchase the home are offered an early reservation incentive. These CHFA Approved Education Classes are held in all areas of Colorado and are offered at no cost to you.
